We are looking to hire an Orthodontic Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in Orthodontics! This position would support our three Southwest Missouri offices in Springfield, Nixa, and Republic. Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

At Expedition Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, our dual specialty integrated care model positions us as a leader in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. This position would be supporting our orthodontic practice with a focus on early, adolescent and adult treatment. We provide braces, clear aligners, retainers and night guards. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic brackets, archwires, and bands.

  • Take accurate scans/impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances.

  • Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for appliance care.

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment charts, progress notes, and digital imaging.
