Position Summary

TheForklift Operator operates and manages movement of materials to ensure a clean, organized facility, respects forklift safety criteria and fulfills production needs.

Hiring Range is $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Completes daily maintenance checks of the assigned unit before operation to ensure safe operation of the equipment and that no repairs are needed.Notifies technician inadvance when aware that equipment will need maintenance.

Operates forklift while in a fast-paced environment and maintains a clean and safe facility.Loads and unloads trailersin a safe and efficient manner.Ensures that thewarehouseis kept clean, orderlyand all materials are properlystored.Operates forklifts/pallet jack following all company safety regulations.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience and basic operator level maintenance experience, be legally eligible to work in the US , and be 18 years of age or older. It is required to have a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Excellent listening, communication and problem solving skills, a dedication to safety, proven commitment to work and a self-directed attitude are expected.
