Broad responsibilities include teaching, research, and service to the community. Demonstrate instructional proficiency teaching in various modalities (in-person, virtual, or online).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching a broad range of kinesiology courses, including athletic training, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics of human movement, physical therapy, motor control principles and theory, and exercise physiology.
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate Kinesiology majors and minors.
  • Engage in and maintain active scholarly research activities.
  • Serve on departmental and university committees and engage in other forms of service to the university and academic community.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Physical Education.
  • Candidates with ABDs considered but must have a conferred Ph.D. by December 31, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with Prior Teaching Experience.
