Position Overview
The Nutrition Group is seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition to oversee daily cafeteria operations within a K-12 school district. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in food service management, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage school menus in compliance with USDA and state guidelines
  • Oversee food cost control, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Lead and supervise cafeteria staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting and reporting processes
  • Maintain strong communication with school district administrators and officials

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • 1-2 years of proven staff management experience
