Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Rehab Aide/Exercise Specialist for our Health and Wellness Clinic. This is an entry level position, however prior experience in fitness or interest in Physical Therapy is preferred.ย ย 

Primary Expectations

Must be able to confidently juggle multiple tasks and complete diverse tasks supporting service providers to optimize workflow and team efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in providing a pleasant and professional environment for customers. Includes high attention to customer service and going the extra mile to enhance the customer experience.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior at all times. Requires ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with service providers, patients, and customers.
  • Work under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, massage therapist or other service provider. Directly support and assist them as requested
  • Complete opening and closing procedures. Includes preparing and getting the clinic ready for the day ahead to optimize clinic workflow and efficiency.
  • Assist with front office clerical work. Includes prepping, organizing, and filing charts, answering the phone and assisting with scheduling if receptionist is busy.
  • Assist with specific physical therapy treatment programs, monitor, cue and help patients complete exercises correctly. Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards and techniques for physical therapy modalities, equipment, and exercises is required.
  • Assure cleanliness of clinic throughout the day. Includes cleaning and straightening up after patients use equipment and treatment tables, turning over massage therapy rooms, keeping up with the laundry duties throughout the day, keeping supplies and linens stocked, cleaning floors and bathrooms, taking out garbage and other daily cleaning duties.
  • Maintain strict customer and company confidentiality with personal health and financial information.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities. Independently manages and prioritizes multiple tasks in order to fulfill individual role on the team. Coordinate and communicate work efforts with other team members.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to perform other duties needed as requested.ย
