Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the physician’s goals and take the patient's preferences into account.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities—to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate and train patients and their families on home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care strategies.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and health regulations.
  • Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate with fellow clinicians and share insights for improving our therapeutic approaches.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery and improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, including post-operative rehabilitation and those with chronic pain conditions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations such as pediatric patients, individuals with neurological disorders, and sports medicine clients. Your role will be integral in enhancing their mobility and functional capacity, making a direct impact on their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at using word processing and other computer technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
Preferred Experience

While new graduates are encouraged to apply, we value experience working with orthopedic patients. Experience in developing and executing evidence-based treatment plans, along with the ability to motivate and educate patients effectively, is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
