Job Summary:

As the Business Operations Manager, you will ultimately be responsible for driving operational efficiency, supporting product and service portfolio management, and improving financial and commercial performance across the business. You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage forecasting and pricing activities, and deliver standardized processes that support company growth and profitability. As the Business Operations Manager, your customers are executive leadership, operations teams, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, and you will make meaningful contributions to the companyโ€™s success through strategic planning, financial analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Help define use cases and business requirements for products and service solutions
  • Develop and manage the companyโ€™s product and service portfolio, including service hierarchy, sub-service definitions, bundled offerings, and profitability analysis
  • Inventory, evaluate, and identify gaps in marketing materials and commercial documentation
  • Refine and lead the commercial approval process, including executive approval documentation and deal-specific profit and loss analysis
  • Compile service costs, develop market-based pricing models, and support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
  • Coordinate master schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support product delivery plans across business functions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, provide competitive analyses, and contribute to product strategy, business forecasts, and new service development
  • Create and deliver product, pricing, and solution presentations for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support all product-related profit and loss line items and perform additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Experience

  • 5โ€“7 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
  • 2+ years of proven experience in an operations management position
  • Experience with forecasting models, business projections, and financial analysis
  • Experience interpreting production and financial data to support operational decision-making

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities
  • Ability to create and manage pricing models, budgets, and profitability analyses
  • Experience with databases and project management software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new business applications and adapt to changing operational needs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Ability to create complex forecasting models and budgets
  • Previous experience in a business operations, strategy, or commercial management role
  • Experience supporting product portfolio management within the telecommunications or infrastructure industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. (e.g., office supplies or packages)
  • Ability to regularly use hands and fingers to operate computers, printers, and office equipment
  • Visual acuity required for reading documents and computer screens
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with occasional domestic travel for meetings, training, or business-related activities
