Core Responsibilities

  • Create content across social media, newsletters, website, and marketing materials that reflects Habitat Broward’s mission and voice.

Website Management & Digital Experience

  • Maintain and regularly update the Habitat Broward website to ensure fresh, accurate, and engaging content.
  • Manage key sections of the site including:
  • Photo Gallery
  • Media Library (all press and coverage)
  • Communities pages (progress, stories, sponsor recognition)
  • Upload and organize photos, videos, and media coverage in a timely and visually appealing way.

Graphic Design & Collateral Development

  • Design a wide range of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, invitations, presentations, impact reports, and digital ads.
  • Create custom commemorative flip books for each community, highlighting the build process, families, and sponsors—presented as recognition gifts to key partners.
  • Ensure all visual materials align with brand standards and storytelling goals.

ReStore Marketing

  • Drive traffic and sales for Habitat ReStore through:
  • Bi-weekly commercials created in Canva (concept, copy, and design)
  • Promotional eblasts via Constant Contact
  • Social media content featuring current furniture, inventory highlights, and promotions
  • Develop graphics and campaigns to support seasonal sales and donations.

Media Relations

  • Collaborate with the PR firm to draft and finalize pre-event Media Alerts and post-event Press Releases.
  • Coordinate media coverage for major events including groundbreakings, home dedications, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Maintain the website Media Library and track PR outcomes through reporting.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Manage all social media platforms (Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business).
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content while actively monitoring engagement and responding to the community.
  • Support integrated campaigns across social media, email, and digital advertising.

Email Marketing

  • Design and distribute monthly Habitat newsletters and ReStore promotional eblasts through Constant Contact.
  • Use segmentation and analytics to improve performance and engagement.

Event Marketing

  • Support marketing for key events such as Women Build, CEO Build, home dedications, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with promotions, signage, sponsor recognition, and post-event reporting.

What You’ll Bring
