Position Summary

The Director of Media Production & Creative Content leads the organization's media production strategy, creative content development, and storytelling execution across all ministries, campuses, events, and digital platforms. This role serves as the chief architect of media production and visual storytelling, overseeing video production, photography, motion graphics, livestream production, creative content creation, and media systems while building and developing high-capacity volunteer and staff teams.

The ideal candidate possesses executive-level leadership skills, strong team development capabilities, exceptional creative instincts, and advanced technical expertise in media production. This individual can move seamlessly between strategic planning meetings, creative brainstorming sessions, production environments, and leadership development opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

Media Leadership

Lead all media production efforts across the organization

Oversee video, photography, livestream, editing, motion graphics, and content creation teams

Develop annual media goals aligned with ministry and organizational initiatives

Build systems that allow media teams to operate with excellence and consistency

Create standards for production quality across all locations and departments

Lead department planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution

Weekend/Experience Support

Support the overall vision through media execution. Responsibilities include:

Sermon series visuals

Service opener videos

Bumper videos

Worship visuals

Testimonies

Story-driven content

Screen content

Broadcast support

Livestream production

Creative moments and special elements

The role exists to make organizational vision visible.

Storytelling & Content Creation

Serve as the lead storyteller. Responsibilities include:

Identifying life change stories

Serve as Executive Producer for major projects. Oversee:

Recruit, train, coach, and develop:

Creative Direction

Partner with creative leadership to:

Develop creative concepts

Design visual storytelling strategies

Technology & Systems

Oversee:

Media production equipment

Camera systems

Video switching systems

Production software

Digital asset management

Livestream infrastructure

Production workflows

5–10 years leading media production teams

Experience producing live events and livestream broadcasts

Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining a high standard of excellence
