The Role
Our Accounts team is seeking an experienced EVP, Accounts to help lead our department and guide the strategic growth of our client partnerships. With a strong understanding of entertainment and gaming ecosystems, you will oversee the full agency portfolio, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellence in client service.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in client services within a digital creative agency, including entertainment marketing and gaming-focused sectors. You are comfortable leading multi-layered accounts, collaborating closely with C-suite clients, and delivering data-driven creative solutions.
In this role, you will lead and scale the entire Accounts department. Responsibilities include refining account management frameworks, driving organic growth, and partnering with Finance on margin optimization. You will work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Social teams to ensure seamless client delivery. Because this role focuses heavily on organizational leadership, a strong understanding of both digital creative capabilities and performance metrics is essential.
Here's What You'll Do
Departmental Leadership & Agency Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the entire Accounts department-including Account Directors and Managers-to ensure the delivery of exceptional service standards across all agency partners.
  • Establish and continuously refine UNFOLD's account management frameworks, workflows, documentation standards, and team structures for maximum scalability.
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to agency-wide planning, resourcing, budgeting, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Champion cross-departmental alignment between Creative, Strategy, Project Management, and Social to ensure operational excellence and high-performing output.

Client Portfolio & Strategic Growth
  • Oversee UNFOLD's full roster of entertainment, gaming, and brand clients, ensuring long-term health, performance, and satisfaction across accounts of all sizes.
  • Foster and maintain C-suite and senior-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for high-visibility initiatives for clients like Disney, Warner Bros., and Prime Video.
  • Guide strategic account visioning, ensuring clients receive innovative, data-driven creative solutions that shape culture at scale.
  • Evaluate client objectives and emerging market dynamics to proactively identify 360-degree expansion potential across all UNFOLD service offerings.

Revenue Growth & Operational Excellence
  • Own revenue performance for the Accounts department, managing forecasting, growth planning, and margin optimization in partnership with Finance and Agency Leadership.
  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities within existing accounts while partnering with Business Development to secure new business through pitch leadership.
  • Implement tools and systems that increase the efficiency and visibility of the Accounts function, utilizing analytics methodologies like OKRs and KPIs.
  • Utilize analytics and performance metrics to evaluate success, guide decision-making, and ensure clients achieve measurable results.

Team Development & Culture
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities that inspire high performance and advancement within the Accounts team.
  • Uphold UNFOLD's values of integrity, creativity, and collaboration-leading by example to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy culture.
  • Stay deeply informed on industry trends within entertainment, gaming, and digital marketing to continually elevate the agency's strategic approach.
  • Anticipate organizational challenges and steer internal teams toward solutions that improve both client outcomes and agency operations.

Here's What It Takes
  • 10+ years of client services experience within a digital creative, entertainment marketing, or gaming-focused agency.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading account teams at a senior executive level.
  • Proven track record overseeing large, multi-layered account portfolios and managing relationships for streaming platforms, gaming publishers, or major consumer brands.
  • Extensive experience in growing accounts, shaping department-level practices, and contributing directly to agency revenue and staff planning.
  • Deep understanding of digital, social, AV, and emerging creative capabilities relevant to the entertainment and gaming landscapes.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable, and inspiring recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to command the presence of a room.
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented; thrives under tight timelines and shifting priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Well-connected within the entertainment, gaming, and digital marketing ecosystems.
  • Ability to represent UNFOLD with professionalism and tact in all internal and external interactions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required.
