This role is critical to ensuring executive leadership can focus on driving the business forward by providing strategic partnership, proactive support, and seamless execution of key priorities. The Senior Executive Assistant also strengthens the executive support function by mentoring other Executive Assistants and driving consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence across the team.
Location/Schedule
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters and follows a fully onsite schedule, Monday through Friday. Team members are expected to work in the office each day to support executive leadership and foster collaboration across the organization.
What You’ll do in this Role
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior executives (VP, C-Suite), providing high-level support with significant autonomy and decision-making authority.
- Oversee and prioritize executives' demanding calendars, balancing long-term strategic planning with urgent requests.
- Directly manage complex, high-visibility events and executive-level meetings, including board sessions, investor relations meetings, and multi-day leadership conferences.
- Draft, refine, and manage executive communications, board decks, and strategic presentations with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead and mentor other administrative professionals, establishing best practices and ensuring consistency in executive support across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to coordinate organizational initiatives, tracking progress and driving accountability at the executive level.
- Manage the most sensitive matters with the highest level of discretion, serving as a trusted advisor to executives.

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 7+ years of experience supporting C-suite level leaders in a face paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentation design, and Teams (including Teams meetings, webinars, and live events)
- Experience with scheduling and travel coordination required
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:$80,000 - 95,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
