Job description

Job Summary:

We're seeking a Sports Performance Coach to bring their expertise, energy, and excitement to our team of innovators, educators, and motivators-all united by a shared goal: empowering people to perform at their best. In this role, you'll work directly with clients, apply Exos' cutting-edge methodology, and help redefine what's possible in athletic performance. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site evaluations using our proprietary assessment protocols to understand client health, performance, and readiness for training.
  • Update and adapt training plans for clients to ensure they're on track for success, fine-tuning based on progress and performance.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients, providing guidance, motivation, and feedback to ensure they're meeting their performance goals.
  • Partner with employers to lead various engagement activities, such as "lunch & learns," campus activities, and wellness fairs, driving excitement and awareness.
  • Represent Exos by delivering educational programs that showcase our proven methodology and cutting-edge practices.
  • Report on key metrics like attendance, client engagement, and outreach to track program impact and help drive continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in planning, designing, and developing programs to enhance our offerings and support research in sports science.
  • Contribute to staff education and training, delivering insights and instruction in line with Exos methodology.
  • Maintain Exos standards by adhering to established policies, continually upgrading professional credentials, and attending required continuing education.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum two years of personal training or strength coaching experience, or completion of Exos Performance Specialist Internship.
  • Current industry certification; NSCA-CSCS or NASM preferred.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
  • Proven ability to create effective, individualized exercise plans.
  • Experience leading group fitness classes with emphasis on technique improvement.Strong presentation skills for both small and large group settings.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, prioritizing client success and support.
