Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager (Executive Team)
Location: North Houston, TX or Southeaset Houston, TX area
A dynamic leader and supplier of industrial scaffolding, painting, coating, and rope access services is looking to grow their Executive Management Leadership Team with the addition of a Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager.
The company is backed by a Private Equity Firm that has combined a conglomerate of industrial services companies focused on maintenance, construction, and turnaround projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Heavy Industrial sectors. This is a FULL-TIME position that will be based out the North Houston, TX area (relocation assistance available)
It will support the company's operations throughout Texas and Louisiana with a key focus on operational financial initiatives (P&Ls..risk analysis, operational scopes..project controls..etc) across the region. Candidates in Senior Project Controls roles with a wide scope of operational financial analysis responsibilities will be considered.
They are offering a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary, discretionary bonus, and 401K matching incentives.
Responsibilities:
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist - Develops, Implements, and manages project cost reports, cash flow reports, and cost forecasts
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist - Analyzes and identifies inefficiencies within Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and develop solutions for adjustments
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist - Utilize data analysis tools to examine P&L and report findings to executive leadership
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist- Analyze project inefficiencies, advise executive management on relevant solutions, and implement solutions as operations lead
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist - Manage financial and operations aspects of soft craft and construction projects across the organization
  • Heavy Industrial Project Controls Manager / Executive Project Control Specialist - travels as needed to represent company in meetings with Oil & Gas, EPC, and Heavy Industrial customers (Gulf Region)

Required Skills:
  • Educational background in Business, Finance, or Engineering PREFERRED
  • Strong background in Project Controls supporting soft Craft Services, Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Construction, and/or PE backed organizations
  • Well versed project scheduling, estimation, and project costing
  • Leadership background in project controls, operations, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding and experience of managing and reporting P&L
  • Experience leveraging MS Dynamics or MS Power BI a strong plus
  • Background in managing a wide array of operational financial controls responsibilities
  • Ability to utilize data analysis knowledge and tools for identifying inefficiencies and developing project solutions
  • Strong skillset utilizing MS Excel
  • PMP certification a strong plus
