Senior Electrical Project Manager – Austin, TX

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a premier electrical contractor in the Austin market to identify a highly accomplished Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, and data center projects.

This leadership role is designed for a seasoned professional who can oversee complex projects, mentor project teams, drive operational excellence, and serve as a trusted partner to clients and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Provide strategic oversight of project schedules, budgets, forecasting, procurement, and resource planning.
  • Manage and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field leadership teams.
  • Drive project profitability through effective contract administration, cost control, and change order management.
  • Collaborate with owners, general contractors, engineers, and trade partners to ensure project success.
  • Support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships and identifying future opportunities.
  • Participate in executive project reviews and provide leadership on risk management and project strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, NEC requirements, and client-specific protocols.
  • Support preconstruction planning, value engineering initiatives, and constructability reviews.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Electrical Project Management experience within commercial electrical contracting.
  • Proven success managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams and mentoring developing leaders.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and contract management.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other construction management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Oversight of projects with electrical scopes exceeding $20M–$100M+.
  • Experience in design-build, design-assist, and highly coordinated construction environments.
  • Data center, healthcare, mission-critical, and commissioning experience strongly preferred.
  • Multi-project or regional portfolio management experience.
