Job Description Our client is a leading provider of natural gas compression equipment and aftermarket services supporting customers across the oil & gas, power generation, transportation, and marine industries. Job Overview: The Project Controls Analyst serves as the operational backbone of a project team delivering compression solutions to customers. Reporting to the Director of Project Management and working closely with the Project Managers, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of multiple concurrent projects, from purchase order issuance through final invoicing and close-out.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the operational hub for multiple concurrent projects: tracking parts status, running weekly cost reports, managing Bills of Materials loaded into SAP and keeping Project Managers fully informed. Own document control: transmit and control financial backup documentation into customer portals. Maintain project SharePoint and request and track submittals.

Drive the full purchase order lifecycle: issuing POs, tracking payments, and executing close-outs. Execute project financials including milestone invoicing, revenue recognition (Percent of Completion, Unit, etc.), and credit/debit memos. Set up and maintain Project Orders in SAP and develop Excel-based reports and dashboards for special project analysis

Coordinate domestic and international parts shipments, working with warehousing, exporters, and vendors to ensure on-time, compliant delivery to customers worldwide. Manage import/export documentation, Certificates of Origin, and country-specific paperwork requirements for international shipments. Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers, handling inquiries on shipments, documents, and order status.

Support Project Managers in warranty issues, change orders, and sales tracking by quarter. Work with Sourcing to expedite and resolve parts shortages and collaborate with vendors and translation services as needed for global project execution. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; further education or relevant certifications are a plus.

7-10 years of experience in Service or Operations Support. 3-5 years of accounting experience, with demonstrated ability to manage project financials, track costs, and support billing and invoicing cycles. Working knowledge of GAAP principles, particularly as they apply to revenue recognition, purchase order tracking, and project-based cost accounting SAP experience required; proficient in setting up and maintaining project orders in an ERP/MRP environment.

Intermediate Excel proficiency: Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP. Strong written and oral communication skills Communicates effectively across all levels, from vendor freight inquiries to executive project updates. Manages multiple competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Self-directed and collaborative. Ability to remain composed under pressure and work issues through to resolution. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international trade documentation and export compliance.

Background in the oil & gas, compression, or industrial equipment sector. Familiarity with change order management and contract compliance in a project-based environment. Associate's degree or higher in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
