Project ManagerJOB STATUS: OPEN POSTING DATE: 05/14/2026 POSTING NUMBER: 053579 LOCATION: Admin Superintendents Office POSITION TITLE: Project Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide executive-level operational and strategic support to the Superintendent to promote effective governance, clear communication, and successful implementation of district priorities. Serve as a primary liaison among the Superintendent, Board of Trustees, district leadership, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operations.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develop, manage, and distribute weekly strategic briefings for the Board of Trustees, campus principals, and staff, ensuring all communications are clear, concise, and aligned with district priorities.
  2. Translate complex district initiatives into clear, concise executive summaries and communications tailored for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  3. Design and coordinate agendas for Senior Staff and monthly principal meetings to maximize efficiency, focus, and actionable outcomes.
  4. Create high-quality executive presentations and digital communication to maintain a professional and consistent organizational image.
  5. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive plans to achieve district goals, ensuring alignment with the Superintendent's vision.
  6. Serve as an accountability partner to senior leadership by tracking, monitoring, and ensuring completion of directives issued by the Superintendent.
  7. Lead special projects from initiation to closeout, defining project goals, success criteria, and deliverables.
  8. Support executive leadership in a high-pressure environment by handling sensitive, confidential personnel and organizational information with discretion and professionalism.
  9. Develop, implement, and maintain organizational systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and enable the Superintendent to focus on strategic initiatives.
  10. Identify workflow gaps, anticipate potential challenges, and implement solutions to ensure seamless operations and prevent disruptions.
  11. Navigate complex organizational dynamics by managing stakeholder relationships with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
  12. Establish and maintain structured systems and processes to ensure organization, accountability, and consistent follow-through on all priorities.
  13. Maintain confidentiality.
  14. Maintain regular attendance.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years' experience in educational administration
  • 3-5 leadership experience, particularly in project management or district-level administration
  • Experience with office management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • Master's degree in educational leadership, business administration, or a related field
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Knowledge of campus operations K-12
  • Experience with Google Suite and digital design tools (e.g., Canva)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
