Overview

Pharmacy Manager - NCH- Colebrook, NH

VytlOne is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Manager needed for NCH location, a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Colebrook, NH. In this integrated model, the Pharmacy Manager will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.

We have a highly competitive offer package, with a targeted salary range of $175,000-187,000 a year depending on experience, a $10,000 sign on bonus, quarterly bonuses, and a relocation package as needed.


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position, a full job description is available upon request):

  1. Assist the Regional Manager and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation.
  2. Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
  3. Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
  4. Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
  5. Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
  6. Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations.
  7. Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:

Education:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current New Hampshite Pharmacist license

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience;
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
