Job description

Description
In anticipation of possible hiring, the Yale School of Management is soliciting applications for a tenured faculty position as full Professor of Organizational Behavior. Macro, Meso, and Micro scholars are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in organizational behavior or a field that is broadly related, including psychology, sociology, management, public health, education, and the many related disciplines that inform how groups organize, function, and are managed. Applicants also must have experience as a faculty member at a top-tier college or university. Business school experience is preferred. The selected candidate must be highly accomplished, well-published, and highly respected in their field. The candidate hired for this position will be expected to continue conducting and publishing their research and will teach and advise students in our PhD, master's, and executive education programs.
The mission of SOM is to educate leaders for business and society. Faculty in the organizational behavior group embody this mission in their scholarship, teaching, and service.
Appointment terms
This is a full-time, tenured faculty position located at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Appointments will be made for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2026.
