Network Engineer

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support CyberPRIMES cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Clearance: Active Secret
Location: Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA

Responsibilities

  • Support external network-connectivity compliance and associated network-boundary approval and registration processes.
  • Review technical network implementations, firewall requests, ports, protocols, services, and network boundaries for compliance with DoD requirements.
  • Prepare, review, submit, and track PPSM and related connectivity requests; address deficiencies, exceptions, renewals, and status reporting.
  • Support CAP, SNAP/GIAP, and whitelisting activities and maintain current, accurate registrations and inventories.
  • Develop and maintain TTPs and process documentation for connectivity approval, registration, compliance, and auditing.
  • Translate complex network requirements into design and implementation plans, resolve network-interoperability problems, and provide expert guidance for major network initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eight years of experience designing and planning network systems.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.

Compensation Range: 

  • The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $107,000 to $145,000 annually.
