Associate Network Engineer

Our client is a growing mechanical construction company looking for an Associate Network Engineer to join a collaborative, high-energy team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career network professional to build hands-on experience across enterprise and cloud networking technologies while working alongside experienced engineers on meaningful infrastructure projects.   • Job Type: Contract (Long-Term, 1 year+)
  • Location: Remote - candidates must be located near a major airport
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40.00-$47.00/hr depending on experience

What You'll Do:

  • Deploy, configure, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
  • Monitor network performance and security, responding to alerts and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Support Cisco Meraki environments including dashboard configuration, firmware updates, and policy management
  • Assist with Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, VPNs, and network security groups
  • Provide tier-2 support for network incidents and collaborate with senior engineers on upgrades and migrations
