Job Summary:
Accelint is a mission-driven technology company focused on strengthening national security and supporting critical industries. They are seeking a Network Engineer to support networking initiatives for Foreign Military Sales programs, requiring substantial experience with military C4I systems and secure operational networks. The role involves configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network environments, collaborating with government network engineers, and supporting security initiatives.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network environments.
โ€ข Work alongside U.S. Government network engineers, Cyber/IA teams, and technical staff to assist with network setup, implementation, and troubleshooting.
โ€ข Help maintain and support Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
โ€ข Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issues; assist with identifying root causes and restoring services.
โ€ข Participate in lab/sandbox environments to test, configure, and learn Cisco networking technologies.
โ€ข Assist with implementing network solutions and infrastructure upgrades.
โ€ข Support security initiatives by helping deploy and maintain network security and monitoring tools.
โ€ข Contribute to troubleshooting and supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) network environments.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
โ€ข 3+ years of networking, IT infrastructure, or related technical experience.
โ€ข Working knowledge of Cisco networking devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
โ€ข Familiarity with installing, configuring, and supporting network environments using Cisco technologies.
โ€ข Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts. Exposure to protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, or VPN technologies is a plus.
โ€ข Experience using or exposure to network monitoring, testing, or diagnostic tools (e.g., Spirent, T-Berd, SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
โ€ข Ability to troubleshoot network hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
