Network Engineer IV (On Site Extreme Engineer) 
Salary Range: $106,000 to $121,000 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a Network Engineer IV to serve as the contract Lead Network Engineer at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role leads wired and wireless network performance, optimization, and security implementation across the enterprise.
This position is contingent upon contract award. 
Responsibilities
• Lead wired and wireless network performance monitoring, network optimization, and testing.
• Implement network security controls and provide advanced troubleshooting across the network infrastructure.
• Manage network IT projects from planning through implementation and documentation.
• Provide team leadership and mentorship to mid-level network engineers.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Data Center, and DevOps teams on cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR AA/AS with 7+ years, OR 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated team and project leadership experience.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Desired Qualifications
• CCIE or equivalent advanced certification.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, and Aruba/ClearPass.
• PMP or other project management certification.
• Prior DoD or Army enterprise network experience.
• Active Secret clearance (a plus, not required).
