Position Overview

Go Flooring is a rapidly growing multi-market flooring company on pace to exceed $40M in

annual revenue. We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting

operations, financial reporting, job costing, inventory management, and profitability

analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Maintain GAAP-compliant and accrual-based financial reporting.
  • Oversee general ledger accuracy and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Build and maintain P&L reporting by market, location, sales rep, installer, product

category, and lead source.

  • Develop detailed job-level P&L reporting and profitability analysis.
  • Monitor job costing, material costs, labor costs, commissions, and installation expenses.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliations.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and working capital analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.
  • Optimize NetSuite and QuickBooks reporting systems.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs for executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting.
  • Experience supporting businesses with $35M+ annual revenue.
  • Advanced proficiency with NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with inventory accounting and job costing.

Preferred Experience

  • CPA designation.
  • Multi-location business experience.
  • Flooring, construction, retail, home services, or inventory-based business experience.
  • Experience scaling businesses from $30M to $50M+ revenue.
