About Satsuma
Satsuma is a commerce integration platform that builds merchant-specific APIs, MCP Servers, and MCP Apps, enabling retailers to connect their full commerce stack once and deploy branded shopping experiences across every AI channel.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive based in Austin to join our growing team at Satsuma. In this in-person role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by engaging with retail and omnichannel clients. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working closely with VPs of Digital, eCommerce, and Loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of Global retail accounts
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at retail organizations to showcase Satsuma's platform and solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and successfully close new business deals.
  • Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update CRM systems regularly.
  • Represent Satsuma at local industry events to build brand awareness and expand professional networks.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably with a focus on retail or omnichannel sectors.
  • Strong understanding of commerce technologies, APIs, and SaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in full sales cycle management and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex deals.
