LivINN Hotels is a small business in hospitality in Burnsville, MN. We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to provide exceptional and memorable experiences for guest and residents. We have properties around the metro and in Sharonville OH.


The Assistant Head Housekeeping Manager will support the Executive Head Housekeeper with their duties. The Assistant Head Housekeeper will act as the Executive Head Housekeeper a minimum of two days a week when the Executive Head Housekeeper is off. The Assistant Head Housekeeper will help establish and implement short and long-range objectives for the assigned department, oversee related functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures to maximize the customer and employee experience by giving the best possible service in person or by phone. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.


Part Time: Sat & Sun, occasional weekday.

Starting Pay $18.00 per hour depending on experience.


Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  •  Oversees team of housekeepers and housepersons when Executive Head housekeeper is not present.
  •  Log and track room standards (guest room preventative maintenance, deep cleans, mattress turns, blanket and bedspread changes, pest control room sprays, special projects, carpet shampoos, and cleaning chemicals used.)
  •  Train new staff or assist management with this process, including giving feedback to staff.
  •  Provides input on performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
  •  Participates in organizing/conducting monthly department meetings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook and training manuals.
  •  Assigns housekeepers a list of rooms and prioritizes rooms requesting early cleaning.
  •  Ensure the parking lot and surrounding grounds are clear of trash.
  •  Knocks and announces self before entering room; returns at a later time if rooms are occupied.
  •  Ensures room meets hotel standards with a final walkaround.
  •  Performs other related duties as assigned.

  •  Detail-oriented and thorough.
  •  Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
  •  Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
  •  Ability to interact with guests and coworkers in a pleasant, friendly way.

Education and Experience:

  •  Knowledge of the philosophy, mission, leadership, and planning needs of the organization preferred.
  •  Must pass background check.

Physical Requirements:

  •  Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
  •  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  •  Scheduled hours may vary due to seasonal demands.
