Project Manager (PMP Certified)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex enterprise IT modernization initiatives within a government environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management experience, a strong technical background, and proven success managing large-scale legacy system transformations to modern enterprise platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience working with Government Agencies
- Experience leading the transformation of legacy IBM Lotus Notes/HCL Domino applications to modern platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable enterprise solutions
Experience RequirementsGovernment IT Project Management
- Minimum 24 months of experience managing and leading complex IT projects for U.S. Government agencies
- Experience overseeing all phases of application modernization projects, including:
- Planning
- Data Migration
- System Integration
- Testing
- User Training
- Post-Implementation Support
Requirements Management & Scope Development
- 84 months of experience developing, documenting, and managing detailed project scope documents
- Experience reviewing project deliverables and managing deliverable acceptance processes
- Experience eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Technical Evaluation & Vendor Assessment
- 84 months of experience evaluating software platforms, technical solutions, and vendor proposals
- Experience assessing:
- Technical Feasibility
- Scalability
- Security
- Strategic Alignment
- Ability to provide technical recommendations to executive stakeholders
Software Development Experience
- Minimum 24 months of software development experience
- Experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
- Design

Project Planning & Governance
- 84 months of experience developing and managing:
- Project Charters
- Scope Management Plans
- Schedule Management Plans
- Cost Management Plans
- Quality Management Plans

- Experience managing projects from initiation through closeout
Project Scheduling & Reporting
- 84 months of experience developing and maintaining project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project
- Experience tracking project progress against established baselines

- Hybrid Project Delivery Models
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and status meetings
