Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Mission Critical Construction Project Executive to oversee and lead multiple hyper-scale data center infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mission-critical construction. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to drive project success while maintaining safety, quality, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple hyper-scale data center construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to ensure accurate estimates and competitive bidding strategies.
  • Integrate self-performed civil construction activities with overall project delivery.
  • Develop preliminary project schedules.
  • Manage a team of project managers and project engineers.
  • Collaborate with clients and project partners for overall project success, risk mitigation, and long-term relationship building.
  • Engage with clients during the bidding process to clarify project requirements, adjustments and to foster strong professional relationships. Present and explain project proposals to clients, designers, and operations teams.
  • Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement project controls and risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays and cost overruns.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and field teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to project plans.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and bid on upcoming projects.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in large commercial construction (mission critical experience preferred).
  • Strong industry experience specific to construction, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience with typical PM software tools, or equivalents, including Bluebeam Revu, Excel, AutoCAD, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, P6, Google Earth, Google Drive, MS Teams, and willingness to learn new and project-specific programs.
  • Ability to break down construction operations into a logical sequence of activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional and polished communication style to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, clients, and government agencies.
