Legend Biotech is seeking Senior Organizational Development Manager as part of the Human Resources team based in Somerset, NJ. 

Role Overview

The Senior Organizational Development Manager, US is a strategic role responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the organization effectiveness and performance and sustainable growth. This position focus on assessing the organization's structure, processes and leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborates closely with business leaders and HR teams to design and implement global programs and initiatives that enhance organizational performance and implementing strategies for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities  

Organization Design & Effectiveness

  • Lead organization design efforts aligned to strategic priorities, including:
    • Operating model design.
    • Role clarity, decision rights, and spans & layers.
    • Workforce planning and capability alignment.

Change Management & Transformation 

  • Design and lead change management strategies for enterprise or functionlevel transformations.
  • Apply structured change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci, or equivalents).
  • Support leaders through highimpact change moments (reorganizations, strategy shifts, M&A integration).
  • Measure change adoption and effectiveness using leading and lagging indicators.

Leadership & Team Effectiveness

  • Design and deliver leadership development solutions aligned to business strategy and culture.
  • Support executive and senior leadership teams in:
    • Team effectiveness.
    • Leadership behaviors and decision effectiveness.
    • Culture and engagement.
  • Help build a strong leadership pipeline through capability frameworks and assessments.

Performance & Promotion & Internal Movement

  • Translate cultural aspirations and values into observable behaviors and systems.
  • Lead policy design and process execution of organization and individual performance management, goal alignment, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Lead policy design and process execution of promotion management, internal movement.
  • Support initiatives to improve employee engagement, inclusion, and organizational health.

Organization Review &Talent Review

  • Design and partner with HRBP to execute organization review and talent review.
  • Conduct or introduce tools of talent selection.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics for OD initiatives (leading and lagging indicators).
  • Track impact and continuously refine approaches based on data and feedback.
  • Contribute to the evolution of OD tools, frameworks, and intellectual capital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business, psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in organizational development, leadership management, culture development, with a proven track record of global or multi-region involvement.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development theory, practices, and industry trends, working experience as a consultant is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including English language proficiency; additional fluency in Mandarin or Dutch languages preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable to the fast-paced culture and environment of the biotech industry.
