Sr. Salesforce Commerce Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Senior Developer and Technical Lead with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning). This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and leading end-to-end Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations, while also mentoring junior developers and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Leadership
  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce (CloudCraze / Lightning) solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce Commerce projects.
  • Provide technical oversight and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.

Solution Development
  • Customize and extend Salesforce B2B Commerce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
  • Configure data models, product catalogs, pricing rules, order management, and checkout processes.

Project Delivery
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with security, performance, and scalability standards.

Team Mentorship
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on Salesforce best practices.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the technical team.

Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing Salesforce Commerce solutions.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning B2B Commerce).
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and owning solution design.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, process automation, and custom objects.
  • Deep understanding of B2B eCommerce processes (catalogs, carts, pricing, orders, and checkout).
  • Strong experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, CRM, and external systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Salesforce certifications: B2B Commerce Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA track a plus).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
