ShiftHop, LLC. is a technology services company for healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities. Our mission is to bring the PRN/gig-work to the healthcare field, allowing for decreased staffing shortages in the healthcare field. We empower healthcare professionals to become independent of their full-time job, by offering credentialing services and a clear path for becoming an independent contractor. With ShiftHop, healthcare professionals can find work 24/7, working whenever, wherever, and however often they’d like.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We’re seeking a candidate to facilitate day-to-day operations, ensuring successful outcomes of several projects and initiatives by collaborating with our internal corporate team and our partner facilities. This is a remote position with a residency requirement of Rochester, New York. The ideal candidate can oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and is very flexible, while being a “hands-on” leader. This is a director level position which reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. As a member of high-level leadership, you can expect to have 5-10 direct reports, who will eventually oversee a team of 50-75 in the Rochester, NY area. As the Director of Operations, you will:

  • Work to implement staff training and compliance procedures, as required by JCAHO for Staffing Agencies
  • Implement scalable processes to support our inevitable growth
  • Manage and communicate with healthcare facilities, offering complaint resolution and high-level contract approvals
  • Facilitate internal leadership meetings, as well as external “pitch” conferences with potential partner healthcare facilities
  • Oversee the financial team, ensuring prompt payments are received by partner facilities, and resolving any Accounts Payable complaints
  • Assist in the hiring, training and oversight of Facility Success Managers and ShiftHopper Success Managers, further overseeing the onboarding, continued training and termination of these positions
  • Assist in the day-to-day marketing of ShiftHop to local healthcare facilities, including social media postings and marketing systems 8. Optimize ShiftHop’s applications and services, defining recommendations and ensuring timely implementations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP/CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as listed above, plus HS Diploma
  • Positive attitude seeking the common goal of providing a revolutionary service to reshape healthcare staffing
  • Familiarity with nursing, post-acute and inpatient healthcare
  • Resourcefulness and creativity
