The Director of Marketing & Communications leads RAVE's brand, product marketing, and external communications strategy across the global in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) market. This role is responsible for strengthening brand awareness, market differentiation, and customer engagement while supporting commercial growth.

Working closely with Product, Sales, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership, the Director develops and executes integrated marketing initiatives that position RAVE as a leader in hardware and digital platform solutions. This leader will oversee all aspects of brand management, product positioning, communications, events, and industry engagement while building and developing a high-performing marketing team.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative marketing leader with a strong background in B2B marketing, ideally within complex technology, aerospace, aviation, or other highly technical industries. They possess the ability to translate sophisticated products and solutions into compelling customer value propositions, build credibility with enterprise customers and industry stakeholders, and drive measurable business results through integrated marketing initiatives. This individual combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, excels at building cross-functional partnerships, and brings the leadership presence, creativity, and business acumen needed to elevate RAVE's brand and support continued growth.

Requirements

  • Own the global brand strategy for RAVE, its product portfolio, and employer brand, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints
  • Own and steward the RAVE brand identity, including visual standards, tone of voice, and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and compelling expression across every customer, partner, and industry touchpoint
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with company goals, market positioning, and customer insights
  • Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing marketing and communications team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Lead product marketing by developing clear value propositions, positioning frameworks, sales enablement materials, and creative assets, in close collaboration with Product and Sales teams
  • Set strategic direction for all creative output, ensuring RAVE's visual and verbal storytelling is sharp, differentiated, and consistent with our brand identity
  • Serve as a brand spokesperson and industry thought leader, driving RAVE's visibility through media relations, public speaking, and active participation in the IFEC and broader aviation ecosystem
  • Plan and manage trade advertising across key industry publications and events, driving topline brand awareness and reinforcing RAVE's position in the IFEC market
  • Lead planning and execution of RAVE's presence at global tradeshows, conferences, and industry events, covering logistics, booth design, lead generation, and post-event analysis
  • Manage and optimize the global marketing and communications budget to maximize ROI and support business growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to ensure marketing is aligned and accelerating commercial outcomes
  • Drive co-marketing and pre-sales initiatives with OEM partners, airline customers, and strategic partners to strengthen brand equity and market presence
  • Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of external agencies, creative vendors, and media partners
