Responsibilities

Keysight has an exciting opportunity for an executive communications director. This role will be part of the Corporate Communications team within Keysight's Global Marketing organization. The executive communications manager will support Keysight’s Chief Marketing Officer with a range of internal and external communications to investors, board of directors, customers, and employees. It develops written and visual communications to align and engage audiences to the business unit’s mission, strategy, and values. It is responsible to ensure stakeholders understand the organization’s direction, goals, and initiatives to achieve business goals.
This involves writing, editing, designing, and producing employee messages, internal webcasts, keynotes, other external presentations, thought leadership content, strategic plan reviews, speeches, and videos as well as being a communications coach to the executive.
Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop and execute a communication strategy, including both internal and external communications in alignment with the company’s messaging to ensure stakeholders understand the organization’s direction, goals, and initiatives to achieve business goals.
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to ensure communications optimally advance their business strategies.
  • Craft engaging written and presented content to convey information most effectively to the intended audience, including aligning and engaging audiences to the organization’s mission, strategy, and values.
  • Plan, create, and track thought leadership presence for executives.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and technologists to create compelling stories to amplify across channels.
  • Produce and manage communications from supported organizations to the rest of the company, including articles for the company’s intranet.
  • Collaborate with the corporate communications team on joint projects and best practice sharing.
  • Support the creation of board presentations and materials, as well as strategic plan reviews.
  • Advise individuals in supported organizations on how to communicate and through which channels.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of communications or equivalent experience, preferably in a high-tech field
  • Excellent visual and written storytelling skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling visual and written language
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding PowerPoint skills with Photoshop experience desired
  • Strong analytical skills to understand financial reporting
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and can work independently
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Leadership / influencing skills across levels
