Job description

Please Note: This is an evergreen (pipeline) opportunity. While there may not be an immediate opening at the time of application, we are actively building a network of qualified professionals for anticipated needs with our Federal government client. By applying, you will be considered for upcoming opportunities that align with your skills and experience, and our recruiting team may reach out as positions become available.

Corner Alliance is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that devotes itself to providing an enriching employee experience while working in meaningful ways to create results for the government. We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant with 7+ years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive.

About the Role:

As an Executive Assistant, you’ll apply senior-level administrative and executive support expertise to help federal leadership — including Senior Executive Service (SES) members and other senior Government officials — manage daily operations, coordinate priorities, and keep front-office functions running smoothly. This includes meeting coordination, task tracking, calendar reconciliation, travel preparation, and briefing support for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Performing routine executive-level tasks, including scheduling, drafting internal memos, creating briefing materials, and coordinating daily operations meetings, notes, and follow-up actions

  • Taking direction and working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Managing, maintaining, and de-conflicting executive and senior leadership calendars

  • Managing electronic action items and correspondence tracking (e.g., via MS Teams or similar platforms)

  • Coordinating meetings and conference calls, including scheduling with attendees, reserving conference rooms, and supporting external-facing meetings

  • Coordinating All Hands and leadership meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions

  • Arranging travel for executives and other office staff as assigned, including local, domestic, international, and invitational travel

  • Ensuring appropriate routing, review, signature, clearance, and submission of high-level documents for executive signature

  • Maintaining records (hardcopy and electronic) in accordance with applicable management directives

  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties as requested by Federal staff

  • Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience

  • or a Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in lieu of the above

  • Previous experience supporting senior-level Federal executives (e.g., Senior Executive Service (SES) or equivalent Government leadership)

  • Must be detail-oriented with demonstrated experience in meeting coordination, task tracking, calendar reconciliation, and travel preparation

  • Experience generating reports and developing briefing materials

  • Ability to foster relationships with external stakeholders for meeting coordination

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain public trust clearance or suitability

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting this Federal client or similar federal agencies in a comparable administrative or executive support capacity

  • Experience supporting other Federal civilian agencies in an executive or administrative support capacity

  • Experience with MS Teams, SharePoint, or similar collaboration and scheduling platforms

  • Experience managing complex travel arrangements, including international and invitational travel

Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested? Please don’t hold back from applying because you may not have it all. You can learn and grow with us. We're looking for someone who is coachable, unflappable in navigating challenges, resourceful in learning new skills, innovative in challenging the status quo, excellent in writing, analytical in thinking, skilled in prioritization, and a rapport builder with clients and colleagues.

About Us:
