Job description

We are seeking an exceptional Full-Time Private Chef with a specialty in Asian cuisine — particularly Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cuisine — to join a warm, fully staffed private residence in Surfside, Miami. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who brings creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of Asian cooking within a luxury private household setting.

The Chef will work collaboratively alongside another chef as part of a highly organized household team. The typical schedule is 3.5 days on / 3.5 days off, preparing daily lunch and dinner service for two principals, with occasional dinner parties and events for 6–12 guests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals with a focus on Asian cuisines, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and other regional specialties
  • Create balanced, health-conscious menus tailored to principals' preferences and dietary needs

  • Accommodate occasional dinner parties, entertaining, or private events as needed
  • Collaborate with Estate Manager and household staff to coordinate timing and service flow
  • Ensure food presentation is of the highest standard, with attention to detail and consistency
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • Strong expertise in Asian cuisines, with the ability to execute authentic and modern interpretations
  • Experience with health-focused, clean, and nutritionally balanced cooking
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while integrating into a private household team
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation standards, and private service etiquette
  • Flexible, discreet, and service-oriented mindset
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits:
