Job description

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Plant Manager. We are seeking leaders from chemical manufacturing, plastics processing, polymer compounding, raw material processing, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, rubber compounding, specialty chemicals, resins, additives, coatings, adhesives, industrial minerals, or other process manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop supervisors and frontline leaders while building a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, throughput, quality, cost, and on time delivery.
  • Partner with executive leadership on capital projects, operational strategy, and future growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience leading supervisors, managers, or production teams.
  • Manufacturing experience in chemicals, plastics, or other manufacturing environments with responsibility for leading production operations. Experience in injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, polymer compounding, rubber compounding, or other process manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational performance, developing people, and leading organizational change.
