Job description

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Adjust, and operate stamping presses and other secondary metal processing equipment
  • Make small adjustment to feeder equipment to feed material into press
  • Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print
  • Operate a forklift on a regular basis
  • Data entry on computer system
  • Perform daily safety checks on machines
  • Run single stroke hand feed and automatic presses
  • Turning on and turning off the machine
  • Make stock guides adjustment
  • Additional items as assigned by Supervisor

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

EQUIPMENT USED
This position will use a stamping press, other metal forming, fabricating and processing equipment.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position works on the manufacturing floor. They must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time. As well as lifting and kneeling are required.
