As we expand within the New York market, we are seeking Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef and Kitchen Managers to join our growing team and be a part of something great!


Position Summary:

Culinary Managers at Motek are responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, leading culinary teams, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and safety. This posting covers all BOH management levels, including Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef.


Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate BOH staff
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet brand standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance
  • Manage inventory, ordering, food cost, and waste control
  • Collaborate with FOH and leadership teams to support overall operations
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and operational goals

  • High-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
