Job Profile
Job Summary
The Director, Quality Outcomes & Analytics provides strategic leadership for clinical quality measurement, outcomes reporting, and analytics to drive performance improvement and regulatory compliance. This role partners with executive leaders, clinicians, IT, and quality teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve patient care, operational effectiveness, and organizational outcomes. The Director oversees analytics infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting systems while ensuring data integrity, regulatory readiness, and timely response to agency requirements. Through effective communication, financial stewardship, and team leadership, the role advances a culture of data'driven decision¿making, innovation, and continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
Doctorate Degree in Clinical Informatics related field Preferred
Master's Degree Biomedical Informatics, Data Science or Health Care Related Field Preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Board Certification in Clinical Informatics within 2 years of employment
Cert Prof in Hlth Care Quality within 2 years of employment
Registered Nurse RN License Preferred
Work Experience:
Seven (7) Years Work Experience In healthcare field including frontline clinical experience; with progressive responsibility in Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Outcomes Measurement, and Healthcare Quality Initiatives. Experience must include at least five (5) years in Quality/Risk/Performance Improvement functions, three (3) years in analytical functions, database management, and application design, three (3) years working with Core Measures and digital Clinical Quality Measures (dCQM), and one (1) year using the Vizient Clinical Database (CDB).
Management Experience:
Five (5) Years of Management Experience managing employees
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Ability to lead online meetings and facilitate multidisciplinary teams
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) High comfort level presenting to large groups, Ability to establish effective working relationships in a complex healthcare environment
Writing/Correspondence Strong data visualization
Writing/Reports Strong Presentation Skills
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Analytical Abilities Strong analytics skills and ability to leverage data to tell the story from the clinical quality perspective.
Design Knowledge and Skills Ability to design data solutions by understanding the clinical quality processes and identify the key problem to be addressed with the help of data
Medical Terminology Knowledge High level of knowledge
Other Knowledge Skills or Abilities Self-motivated, strong time management skills,
strong track record of successful, collaborative
working relationships in multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare
professionals at all levels to achieve established

Health Information Systems (Electronic Health Record, Data Abstraction Software); Must have work experience navigating EHRs and Analytics software (Tableau, Power BI) - high
Research Knowledge and Abilities Deep knowledge of healthcare quality frameworks, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
Statistical Knowledge and Abilities Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma
Methodologies, statistical methods and
