What will I Do?
You will work for one of Utah's most recognizable sports + entertainment brands, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans!
The Corporate Partnerships Account Executive is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new corporate partners across all Miller Sports & Entertainment properties, including The Salt Lake Bees, Big League Utah, Megaplex Theatres, Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals, Monarchs, Zions Bank Training Facilities, and the Real Salt Lake Training Academy. This role focuses on building strong relationships, expanding the company's network, and driving new revenue through sponsorship sales. The role champions the company's Mission and Vision and models the company Values.
The position will:
  • Exemplify best practices in all interactions, conducting business with internal teams and external clients with an emphasis on stewardship, accountability, and customer service.
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective corporate partners through research, outreach, networking, and cold calling to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Lead the sales process from initial conversations through proposal development, presentations, negotiation, and contract execution, building trust and strong relationships with key decision-makers along the way.
  • Research and understand the business objectives of prospective partners
  • Develop customized sponsorship proposals and presentations that align partnership assets with a prospect's business and marketing objectives showing compelling potential ROI of partnership opportunities.
  • Track pipeline and sales activity.
  • Coordinate with partnership marketing, marketing, events, and digital teams to prepare sales materials and activation opportunities for prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed agreement to onboarding, asset delivery, and activation planning.
  • Support activation and event representation as needed.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and sponsorship best practices.
  • All other tasks as assigned

What are the requirements of the Job?

  • 3+ years' experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development.
  • Proven ability to prospect, acquire, and close new accounts.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Two-Circles/KORE) and reporting.
  • Proficiency using Google Workspace and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
  • Self-starter with a professional demeanor for networking and external representation.
  • Experience tracking pipeline and sales metrics.
  • Experience creating and delivering sales presentations.
  • Ability to research potential partners and tailor proposals.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with external partners.
  • Familiarity with the sports/entertainment industry.
  • Ability to travel locally to meet prospects and attend events.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
