The position requires strong data management and analytical skills, fluency with SQL and modern data tools, exceptional written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lead multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

The Nationals are a military-friendly organization actively recruiting veterans and spouses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis & Revenue Support

  • Partner with revenue-generating departments (Ticketing, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcast, and Nationals Park Events) to evaluate business performance, uncover emerging trends, and recommend actions that optimize revenue and fan engagement.
  • Lead strategic projects such as sales forecasting, promotional effectiveness, pricing and market analyses, and business case development.
  • Translate data, research, and strategic insight into structured, narrative-driven executive presentations that guide leadership through key messages and recommendations for both internal and external audiences.

Data-Driven Solutions & Modeling

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization’s data environment, and design data-driven solutions that solve business problems and accelerate decision-making.
  • Work with large, multi-source datasets (ticketing, CRM, concessions, retail, and digital) to generate insights that guide operational and commercial decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial and revenue-focused models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic prioritization
  • Design and maintain customer segmentation to inform targeting, personalization, and customer lifetime value strategies across departments.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analyses, dashboards, and reporting.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Lead the development of real-time dashboards and visualizations for Ticketing, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Nationals Park Events, and Ballpark Operations.
  • Define, track, and report on organizational KPIs and performance metrics
  • Communicate findings clearly and credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

       Compensation:

The projected annual salary range for this position is $84,577.50 - $90,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. • Flexible spending accounts
