Colorado Network Staffing (CNS) is seeking a dependable, discreet, and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide executive-level administrative, clerical, and data-entry support to senior leadership at theย Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

The Executive Assistant will manage administrative workflows, executive calendars, correspondence, records, meetings, deadlines, and communications while safeguarding sensitive information. This position requires exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven military environment.


Essential FunctionsExecutive & Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative, clerical, and data-entry support for daily office operations.

  • Support senior leadership with executive-level administrative requirements and workflow coordination.

  • Manage calendars, appointments, schedules, meetings, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up actions.

  • Coordinate meetings and conferences and assist with documenting and tracking resulting action items.

  • Maintain organized administrative processes and ensure assigned tasks and suspense items are completed within established deadlines.

  • Serve as a primary administrative point of contact for leadership.

Correspondence & Document Management
  • Prepare, edit, format, proofread, and maintain professional correspondence and documentation.

  • Prepare emails, letters, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, briefing materials, and other administrative documents.

  • Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic records and files.

  • Ensure documents are accurate, properly formatted, and professionally presented.

  • Apply appropriate military administrative practices, office procedures, protocol guidelines, telephone etiquette, and customer-service standards.

  • Handle sensitive, strategic, personal, and personnel information with a high degree of discretion.

  • Protect confidential information in accordance with applicable privacy, records-management, information-protection, and security requirements.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Associate degree in any field.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or data-entry experience in a professional office environment.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a military environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily on-site at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, within a professional military office environment. The role requires frequent interaction with senior leadership, military and civilian personnel, installation organizations, external agencies, and other stakeholders.

The position routinely requires computer and telephone use, document preparation, electronic records management, meeting coordination, and other professional administrative activities.

Ad hoc or situational telework may be permitted only when approved and operationally supportable and must be performed using authorized government-furnished equipment.


Physical Demands

This position is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, telephone communication, document preparation, and other administrative activities.

The position may occasionally require standing, walking within an office or installation environment, handling files and records, and moving light office materials.


Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, primarily on-site, contract-supported position. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays.

Scheduled absences must be communicated in advance, and unscheduled absences must be reported promptly in accordance with CNS and client procedures.


Work Authorization / Security Clearance
  • Must be a United States citizen.

  • Must successfully complete applicable CNS pre-employment verification and background-screening requirements.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable criminal, financial, fingerprint, suitability, and national-security investigation as required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access.

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain authorized access to applicable Air Force information systems.

  • Must provide at least three professional references.

  • Must complete required government orientation, installation in-processing, information-assurance training, privacy training, emergency-preparedness activities, and other required initial and annual training.


Conditions of Employment

Employment and the anticipated start date are contingent upon CNS receiving the contract award, government acceptance of the proposed candidate, and successful completion of all applicable onboarding requirements.
