Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides direct administrative and operational support to the Market President of McLaren Health Plan. Work performed in this role spans a broad range of complex and confidential responsibilities, including calendar and travel management, facilitation of Board and Executive Team meeting functions, company correspondence, and special project coordination. This position serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including Board Members, senior leaders, stakeholders, vendors, and community and regulatory contacts and is regularly entrusted with highly confidential and sensitive information. Independent execution is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified and fast-changing workload, and to drive improvements to office practices and procedures.
This is a hybrid position with requirements to come on site as scheduled - Flint, MI.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Associate's degree in business, health care, or a related field or a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) combined with an Executive Assistant Certification and a minimum of two (2) years' administrative experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Three (3) years' experience in progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant roles, including experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care or a related field.
  • Two (2) years' experience working in HMO, PPO, and Managed Care functions.
  • One (1) year of experience supporting a Board of Directors or corporate governance function.
