Job description

Executive Assistant to the EVP

Arlington, Virginia, United States

Air is the leader in Enterprise Readiness. Our mission is to establish readiness as a real-time condition that is continuously achieved. Today, a dangerous Readiness Gap exists between what the front line needs and what is delivered. Our AI-native platform, Air Enterprise Readiness, aligns development, production, delivery, and sustainment into one coordinated execution system for government agencies and industrial suppliers. By revealing true capacity, exposing real constraints, coordinating resources, and executing at the speed of operational demands, the front line gets what it needs to succeed.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Executive Vice President (EVP), Go-To-Market (GTM), serving as a critical partner in enabling leadership effectiveness at a rapidly growing, mission-driven company.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and can seamlessly manage constant re-prioritization across several teams (Swiss Army Knife mentality). The Executive Assistant will play a central role in optimizing executive time, ensuring operational excellence, and helping leadership stay focused on the company's highest priorities.

Success in this role requires initiative, discretion, exceptional organizational skill, and the ability to operate confidence, professionalism and sound judgment in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role requires a can-do/positive attitude, ready to partner with stakeholders across the organization and externally as necessary–an expert relationship builder.

This is a full-time position based in our Arlington, VA office and requires close in-person support for the EVP.

Scope of Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end executive support for the EVP, expertly managing evolving priorities, schedules, and daily operations
  • Strategically manage complex calendars across time zones, optimizing time and commitments while anticipating needs, resolving conflicts, and independently solving logistical challenges
  • Serve as a trusted liaison and professional point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications with discretion and urgency; track follow-ups, action items, and commitments to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop high-quality presentations, briefing documents, decks, and other executive-level materials
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, pre-reads, and post-meeting follow-ups to drive clarity and accountability
  • Ensure in-person and virtual meetings run seamlessly from planning through execution, including logistics, room bookings, IT coordination, materials, catering, and technical setup
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, accommodations, and detailed itineraries; proactively adjust as plans change
  • Support planning and execution of leadership off-sites, strategy sessions, and company events as needed
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, special projects, and evolving administrative priorities

This role requires availability outside standard business hours as needed to support urgent and time-sensitive matters.

Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Executive-level administrative support experience
  • Prior experience working with government agencies, the national security sector, the Department of War (DoW), or a government-adjacent organization
  • Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
  • Capable of producing high-quality content on short deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work and plan, organize, and prioritize appropriately
  • Fast learner and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to consistently produce timely and error-free work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance. If you thrive while building solutions to complex problems, are a self-starter, and are passionate about making an impact in global security, we're eager to hear from you.
