Executive Assistant to Principal
Our client is seeking a sophisticated and highly proactive Executive Assistant to provide direct support to a senior executive and private Principal in Raleigh, North Carolina. This individual will serve as a trusted partner responsible for organizing an increasingly complex mix of executive, board, business, and personal commitments. This is a hybrid, direct hire opportunity.

The position requires exceptional judgment, discretion, initiative, and the ability to operate with considerable autonomy.
The Executive Assistant will have significant access to the Principal's schedule and communications and must be comfortable providing structure, anticipating needs, and respectfully pushing back when priorities compete.
Manage a complex calendar encompassing executive, board, business, investment, and personal commitments.
Take ownership of scheduling and proactively identify conflicts, competing priorities, and opportunities to better organize the Principal's time.
Serve as a gatekeeper and trusted point of contact, using sound judgment to determine priorities and appropriate follow up.
Coordinate domestic travel, including commercial and private aviation, accommodations, transportation, itineraries, and schedule changes.
Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations, board materials, meeting packages, and executive correspondence.
Work comfortably with Excel and financial information, including basic spreadsheets, reporting, and administrative financial matters.
Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, investment advisors, executives, and other members of the Principal's professional network.
Track commitments, action items, deadlines, and follow up to ensure important matters move forward.
Manage highly confidential documents, correspondence, and sensitive personal and business information.
Provide administrative support related to the Principal's various business interests and outside activities.
Handle special projects and evolving responsibilities with limited direction.

Executive Assistant Background Profile
5+ years of progressive Executive Assistant, Senior Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or comparable executive support experience preferred.
Experience supporting a CEO, C Suite executive, founder, private Principal, UHNW individual, or family office strongly preferred.
Advanced organizational and calendar management skills.
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Comfort working with financial information; bookkeeping or accounting exposure is a plus.
Experience preparing or coordinating executive presentations and board materials strongly preferred.
Exceptional discretion and demonstrated experience handling confidential information.
Strong business judgment and ability to make decisions independently.
Highly proactive and comfortable taking action without waiting for detailed instructions.
Polished written and verbal communication skills.
Confident communicating with senior executives, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other sophisticated stakeholders.
