PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier leader in the aerospace industry to hire an experienced and highly skilled Structures MRB Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex aircraft structural challenges that directly impact production, safety, performance, and innovation across advanced aerospace programs.

As a Structures MRB Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership and engineering expertise in resolving complex structural nonconformances involving both metallic and composite aircraft structures. You'll collaborate across engineering and production teams to ensure quality, schedule, and airworthiness standards are achieved. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Create and justify engineering dispositions for nonconforming aircraft structures
  • Analyze and develop repair solutions for metallic and composite structures
  • Support structural issues involving:
    • Wing structures
    • Fuselage structures
    • Empennage structures
    • Pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft components
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Lead engineering investigations and develop innovative structural repair concepts
  • Make authoritative technical decisions impacting production schedules and product integrity
  • Optimize engineering solutions for cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Develop engineering standards, methods, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams in a schedule-driven environment
  • Utilize engineering and manufacturing systems including Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor, Word, and Excel
  • Support periodic weekend overtime as needed
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience within a recognized aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience with aircraft structural repair dispositions for:
    • Composite structures
    • Metallic structures
    • Pressurized and non-pressurized systems
  • Proven experience supporting all major aircraft structural components
  • Strong capability to rapidly analyze and design structural repairs using equivalent strength and stiffness methods
  • Experience working in production and schedule-driven aerospace environments
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with:
    • Catia V5
    • Solumina
    • SmarTeam
    • Corridor
    • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to work independently and make high-level technical decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Broad engineering experience across multiple aerospace technical disciplines
