- Successful completion of the EIT/FE (fundamentals of engineering exam) is preferred. OR PE certification
- Minimum three years designing specialized industrial machinery.
- Ability to design special purpose machines from conceptual ideas into finished machinery using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor or other 3D engineering software.
- Thorough knowledge of machine design, materials, mechanical power transmission, fluid power applications, and fabrication procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support sales and R&D by providing conceptual designs, cost estimates, and specifications, and by making technical presentations to customers.
- Provide detailed engineering and designs suitable for the fabrication of casting machines, bar preparation machines, coil handling lines, furnaces, and other industrial equipment.
- Provide detailed layout designs for SCR rod mills and furnace installations.
- Provide technical communication and support to customers.
- Provide field service work at the customer's site to supervise the installation of equipment.
Requirements:
