Job description

Responsibilities include sourcing and placing candidates, creating competitive pay packages based on bill rates, adhering to GSA guidelines, crafting and placing job advertisements, developing manager profiles, coordinating contract locks, and ensuring thorough candidate credentialing for each position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day recruiting and credentialing functions.
  • Manage day-to-day recruiting functions which include answering phones, texts, emails etc.
  • Assists in any additional Express Healthcare Staffing administrative functions as needed to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.

DUTIES:

  • Source and Attract Candidates: Utilize various recruitment platforms, job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify and attract qualified nursing and allied professionals
  • Screen and Evaluate Candidates: Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience and cultural fit for healthcare roles
  • Build and Maintain Candidate Pipelines: Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of healthcare professionals to ensure a steady flow of talent for current and future staffing needs
  • Collaborate with Client Facilities: Partner with healthcare facility managers and department leads to understand staffing requirements, job specifications, and organizational goals
  • Coordinate Recruitment Processes: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations
  • Ensure Compliance and Credentialing: Verify candidates’ credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards
  • Negotiate Competitive Pay Packages: Skillfully negotiate contract terms, including but not limited to, bill rates, contract duration, and travel stipends (including following GSA and Express guidelines), to secure favorable agreements that balance candidate satisfaction and client expectations
  • Promote Employer Brand: Represent the organization professionally to candidates, promoting the company’s values, culture, and opportunities to attract top talent
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with healthcare industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruitment best practices to enhance sourcing strategies
  • Submit candidate profiles through the appropriate Vendor Management System (VMS) platform
  • Align weekly activities with Scorecard expectations
  • Provide on-call support after hours and during emergency situations, if needed.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and prioritize tasks and sales functions appropriately.
  • Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of collaboration.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of six months’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.

  • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, or human resources

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to build strong relationships through negotiation, persuasion, and composure under pressure.

  • Requires mathematical, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in computer apps, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and database management to write/create reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and procedural manuals.

  • Ability to type 50+ words per minute.

JOB FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to adjust visual focus and use close vision accurately. Able to speak and hear.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a computer/keyboard using hands/fingers and occasional standing/walking.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
