ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in access solutions, with operations in more than 70 countries. The Americas Division is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in New Haven, CT.ย 

This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close activities, business analysis, OneStream reporting,ย Excel-based reports using OneStream queries, and preparation of management PowerPoint presentations.ย 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with finance, accounting, and business partners to provideย accurateย reporting and useful insights.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.ย 

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, andย managementย presentationsย using OneStream data and Excel reporting tools.ย 

  • Build,ย maintain, and update Excel reports using OneStream queries to support recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis.ย 

  • Assistย with management PowerPoint presentations.ย 

  • Assistย with annual budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis of actual results versus plan.ย

Requirementsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.ย 

  • 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close.ย 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles; GAAP experienceย requiredย and IFRS exposure preferred.ย 

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and analysis of large data sets.ย 

  • Hands-on experience with OneStream reporting, including creating, running, andย maintainingย Excel reports using OneStream queries.ย 

  • Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Hyperion, Power BI, or Business Objects is helpful.ย 

  • Ability to prepare clear financial reports andย assistย withย managementย PowerPointย presentations forย leadership review.ย 

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.ย 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional partners.ย 

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.ย 

  • Limited travel may beย required, up to 5%.ย
