Job description

Description

The ADC Program Aide is responsible for supporting the supervision, instruction, and daily engagement of clients in program activities. This role assists in implementing individualized training plans, monitoring client progress, and ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment.


  • Assist clients with personal care and daily living needs as requiredย 
  • Support client instruction and skill development activitiesย 
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized training programsย 
  • Provide input regarding client progress, goals, and program improvementsย 
  • Assist with arrival and departure of clients, including transportation support as neededย 
  • Support the implementation of corrective action plans when applicableย 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized program environmentย 
  • Document client progress and complete required reports accurately and timelyย 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service deliveryย 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of ageย 
  • DOJ fingerprint clearance requiredย 
  • Health screening and TB test required within 7 days of hireย 
  • Valid California Identification Card or acceptable IDย 
  • Current First Aid Certification (required)ย 
  • CPR Certification within 45 days of hireย 
  • Ability to serve as a positive role model for clientsย 
  • High school diploma or equivalent requiredย 
  • Prior experience in a related field preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods throughout the dayย 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain balance and coordinationย 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as neededย 
  • Manual dexterity to complete documentation and operate basic equipmentย 
  • Adequate vision and hearing to monitor client safety and participationย 
  • Overall good health and mobility to perform job duties effectively
