Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and service-focused Catering and Events Manager to oversee the seamless execution of catering operations and events within a high-volume corporate hospitality environment. Serving 200 - 250 guests daily across multiple event spaces and dining outlets, you will supervise a talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences for corporate functions, conferences, and special events.

Your role is central to ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and flawless event delivery. You will coordinate all aspects of catering and event logistics, from planning and setup to service and breakdown, while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily catering and event operations, ensuring timely setup, service, and breakdown of all functions
  • Coordinate with culinary, service, and facilities teams to deliver seamless events and dining experiences
  • Oversee event logistics, including staffing, equipment, room layouts, and décor, ensuring all client specifications are met
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing requests and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, making real-time adjustments as needed to exceed expectations
  • Support menu planning and execution in collaboration with culinary leaders, ensuring dietary needs and event themes are accommodated
  • Train, mentor, and schedule hospitality staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies and standards
  • Maintain and oversee Talent Café spaces on multiple floors, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Barista, supporting breakfast and lunch service to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction
  • Assist with inventory management, cost control, and sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • You must complete a criminal record check 
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in hospitality, catering, or event management within a high-volume or multi-outlet environment
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex events and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong client service orientation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supervising, training, and motivating diverse teams
  • Solid understanding of event logistics, banquet operations, and hospitality best practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with event management or catering software is an asset
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and a collaborative team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, minimal weekends, and extended hours as required by event schedules
