Job description

Position: Program Manager
Location: Troy, MI
Reports To: Plant Manager
Description:
The Program Manager has overall project control for the administration and scope of work completion for vehicles used in events and other client activities. The position may require the direct supervision of the work of others, and requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to our client. These include but are not limited to: project management, project quoting, budgetary management and client interaction.
Essential Job Functions:
• Exercises overall project control for designated brand/brands
• Frequent, regular interface with OEM clients and contracted vendors to discuss projects
• Responsible to monitor and maintain projects within budget
• Perform quoting services encompassing all aspects of client projects
• Process proposals, product placement and transportation coordination
• Supervise shows and corporate events to ensure successful outcomes
• Responsible for leading and managing respective team members ensuring high performance and technical competency, resulting in quality and delivery cost expectations
• Maintain and regularly update vehicle tracking databases
• Perform timely and appropriate activities to support all financial/accounting procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior Automotive experience preferred
Requires the Following Skills:
• Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
• Ability to identify, train and lead high performance teams to successful outcomes
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and follow through on required tasks
• High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Intermediate or higher skills with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Other Requirements:
• Lifting requirements: 5 - 75 lbs.
• Requires minor to moderate level of physical activity
• Some travel may be required
